Do you post overseas?
Absolutely - contact me with details of where you are in the world and I will find out the shipping costs. At the moment the rates for overseas parcels are very changeable and that is why shipping is not listed for shipping outside of New Zealand. It is a work in progress in these changeable times.
How are your prints packaged?
Unframed prints are packed flat. They are wrapped in a protective sleeve, secured between flat cardboard and sealed inside a sturdy cardboard mailer.
How are your bigger art works packaged?
Each one is carefully packaged by me with sturdy cardboard and soft padding, then escorted off to the courier with an overabundance of caution...
How do I care for my resin covered art?
Clean your resin art just as you would clean glass by spraying it with a mild glass cleaner, then gently wiping it dry with a soft cloth. Epoxy resin is strong and durable so you can safely use a mild glass cleaner without damaging the resin surface.
Will my print look different from what I see online?
I like to have direct control over the quality of the prints which is why I have chosen to print each one myself.
My prints are made to order reproductions of my original watercolor paintings scanned by a high-quality Canon scanner at 300dpi or higher. There will be slight variations from the original in the color - I do my very best to ensure consistency in matching the colors of my prints to the real painting as closely as possible.
Are your art works signed?
Most of the artworks are signed by me as "Rachel P" and a date. These are normally very small signatures tucked away on the art work as I believe that the art itself should take center stage, not my signature. The canvas acrylic pours will have a signature on the back of the art work if it is not on the front.
If you would like me to sign your print, please let me know and I will gladly do so. Also please let me know if you want my normal signature "Rachel P" or my full signature "Rachel Painting". For obvious reasons I do not normally sign my full name - but am happy to do so if requested.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Totally - what a lovely thought! Please let me know in the checkout additional details who to send it to, their address, the gift givers name and if you would like a note placed in the order.
Commissions?
Yes, I do commissions but on a limited basis. Please send me an email setting out as much detail as possible and I will get back to you with any questions and a quote.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are dispatched within 3 days of receiving the initial order dependent on what day they are received on. If there is any urgency for the order, please let me know in the checkout additional details and I will do my best to assist you.
